Use com.yapioca.app as the Android package name. Install this as a new app alongside the old package. Trust both yapioca.com and yapnation.pages.dev while opening Yapioca by default. Fix version parsing in the native update checker.

Stop unwanted Android WebView vibration when holding ordinary buttons. Add explicit native tick, click, heavy-click, and double-click feedback through the app bridge, respecting Android haptic settings and device support. Support fullscreen content extending into display cutouts while reporting native safe-area insets for controls and keyboard avoidance. Allow an opaque, theme-matched Android navigation strip on screens that need a reserved bottom inset, including gesture navigation.

Keep homepage card sizes and columns stable throughout predictive Back animations. Keep the full-height dock restore handle attached throughout touch drags, and restore the mini player with a short inward pull. Protect the Android dock restore control from system Back gestures; gestures on tall handles restore the player instead of navigating away.

Open external links in themed browser tabs, including links that request a new window. Keep video frames updating during predictive Back, mini-player navigation, and restoration by animating the live page inside Chromium. Capture page previews from rendered frames without software drawing the WebView. Cast public videos to Chromecast and Google TV, with playback, seeking, volume, and subtitle controls on your phone. Stash the mini player in six fixed positions along the left and right edges, restore it by tapping or dragging inward, and dismiss only by dragging down. Use clean Material-style play and pause icons in Android picture-in-picture. Match the connection-error screen to YapNation’s wordmark, light and dark colors, and square controls.

Keep the native app bridge connected when Android recreates its WebView, fixing missing Share and failed GIF/image saves. Selecting a share destination opens its page and existing composer, and closes the share screen.

Share text, images, and videos into YapNation. Choose a public post, channel, or DM when signed in. Share images and post links with other Android apps. Save images and animated GIFs to Pictures/YapNation, and audio to Download/YapNation. Show upload and download progress notifications, with an optional permission screen before the Android notification request. Add interactive predictive Back when leaving fullscreen video and show the status bar with playback controls. Keep video playing in picture-in-picture when leaving with Home or root Back, including button navigation.

Fix Save image in the Android image viewer. Images save to Pictures/YapNation on Android 10 and later; Android 8 and 9 use the system save picker. Preserve original image quality and animated images when saving.
